Hi, I’m Clara Terrazas, a licensed psychotherapist based in Arizona.
I have over a decade of experience helping adults, teens, and families navigate trauma, anxiety, and depression. My passion is creating a safe, compassionate space where healing can happen, and I feel truly honored to support my clients on their journey toward well-being.
I earned my Master’s degree from Arizona State University in 2013 and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW #19795) shortly after. As a native Spanish speaker born in Mexico, I understand the importance of culturally sensitive care, and I strive to ensure my clients feel seen, heard, and understood.
My specialties include working with individuals aged 15 and older who are coping with trauma related to childhood abuse, domestic violence, bullying, crime, PTSD, and other life stressors. I also conduct psychosocial evaluations for immigration cases, working closely with migrants who have experienced trauma either in their home country or here in the U.S. My bilingual and bicultural background allows me to provide therapy that respects and embraces my clients’ cultural identities.
When I’m not working, you’ll often find me unwinding with a good book at home. I prioritize my own wellness through daily meditation, yoga, movement, and spending meaningful time with family and loved ones.
